Friendly support and cooperation from the media has made it possible for Alcoholics Anonymous to carry its message of hope in the U.S., Canada, and far beyond. We know that A.A. would not have reached many thousands of men and women without this assistance.
For journalists and members of the media, more information is available referring to our tradition of anonymity at the level of press, radio and film concerning individuals or events in Alcoholics Anonymous. In addition to this guidance A.A.’s General Services Office provides media press releases, public service announcements (PSAs), and estimates of A.A. membership, which can be accessed by clicking here.
